CellSave Preservative Tubes provide an optimized cell preservative that:
- Stabilizes circulating tumor cells (CTCs) for up to 96 hours at room temperature, which allows shipment of samples from remote locations for analysis
- Improves the reproducibility and reliability of CTC analysis
CTCs are fragile and tend to degrade within a few hours when collected in standard evacuated blood collection tubes.
Allow at least 7 days after administration of doxorubicin before sample collection.
